Weekly update

Things have been busy at the Telescope Media Group “world headquarters” recently. Basically, we’ve been having so much fun working on our recent projects that I haven’t taken the time to blog about them. But regardless, I just want to state publicly how grateful I am for the work and opportunities that have come our way. Past, present and future… It’s been stop-me-in-my-tracks amazing. And we know it’s all by the grace of God.

When I was younger, I used to see the Psalm 37:4 as a “someday” text; as in “someday” – if I do enough to please God and earn his approval – then He’ll give me what I really want. But that’s not what it says at all. Instead;

Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4

Trust in Him. Find delight in Him. Stop looking for satisfaction in things other than Him. And everything I want is suddenly found in Him – not in the things I’d been chasing after.

And you know what the funny thing is? As I continue to rest in Christ and trust in what He provides, we’re seeing more and more of  the things I used to chase after come our way – many of them even faster than I can anticipate.

It’s crazy. It’s an adventure. It’s grace.
